The King Residence

Posted by: on Jul 30

The King ResidenceIn one of our very first blog posts we discussed the groundbreaking ceremony at an exciting new project on Lake Travis – the King residence. We are now well into construction and the home is progressing nicely.

The interior of the home is currently being sheet rocked. Outside, the stucco exterior is being applied to the rear, requiring scaffolds to be constructed on the back patio. We’re beginning to see the design coming to life which is really exciting.

One of the unique features of this home is the interesting wall projections in the upstairs media room. Designed to accommodate the large flat screen television, the entire wall becomes an appealing array of niches in various shapes and sizes. Mrs. King brought us a picture of a similar wall design from a magazine and we worked through the details to produce this one-of-a-kind feature.

The King's media roomThe Kings have been a lot of fun to work with on this project! Their unique ideas are what make custom home building fun and challenging for us. We love to create one-of-a-kind homes that are perfect for the homeowners. We love to bring dream homes to reality.

The Kings are big dreamers and we are happy that we could bring their ideas to life for them. One thing is certain, this home will be as beautiful as it is unique. Austin custom homebuilder Sterling Custom Homes is excited to complete this fantastic home.

99parade8-smallSterling Custom Homes handles a variety of questions from clients when building their dream home. The Austin custom home builder believes in providing all  home buyers with as much information as possible so that they can make an informed decision and feel comfortable with the building process.

However, the question of cost per square foot is a difficult question to accurately answer. Until Sterling has the opportunity to meet with a client and determine the scope of the project, there is no way for them to accurately answer cost per square footage.

There are many reasons why the lakeway home builder cannot give an accurate quote of cost per square foot. Such factors include:

  • The efficiency of the floorplan
  • The cost associated with the amenities chosen
  • The amount of covered porch area
  • The community requirements Read More→
