Organized by Texas Folklife and the San Angelo Museum of Fine Art, the Texas Folklife Yard Show exhibit will be on display at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center and the McDermott Learning Center from Sept. 4 to Dec. 5. The exhibit, based on landscape designer Jill Nokes’ book, “Yard Art and Handmade Places,” will showcase yard art such as “The Sporting Life” by Vince Hannemann, photos of yard art projects and decorative bird houses.

However, no event is more highly anticipated than the 9th Annual Austin City Limits Music Festival. People from around the country flock to Austin to experience the eclectic collection of performances, the SoCo Art Market for art, crafts and cool merchandise and many other activities that surround the weekend.
