Sterling Wins Austin Business Journal Award!

Today at a special awards ceremony hosted by the Austin Business Journal, the elite Austin Real Estate professionals were honored. We are very proud that our name was called as the Austin Business Journal’s 2010 Custom Builder of the Year!
Duke McDowell says, “We have been honored with over 100 industry awards throughout the years, including the Texas Custom Builder of the Year - three times! But this award is special and unique as it recognizes us locally for our commitment to advancing the quality and professionalism of the home building industry right here in our own back yard.”

Duke McDowell and Gary Grambley of Sterling Custom Homes had the pleasure of presenting their award winning three-part seminar series titled “The Custom Home Construction Process” to a large group of Realtors on November 13, 2009.
The setting was unique, the outdoor pavilion at the exciting new development called The Reserve at Lake Travis! The Reserve is a beautiful location on the shores of Lake Travis with large, acreage homesites. Sterling Custom Homes once again participated in the largest real estate-oriented trade show in Central Texas, the Realty Round Up. With a large booth in a prominent location, Sterling had a great time visiting with friends and meeting the areas top real estate professionals at the Austin Convention Center.
Having built custom homes in Austin, Texas for 20 years, Sterling is a recognizable brand that stands for quality and integrity. Many attendees enjoyed the free caricatures provided by Sterling through the talent of local artist Theresa Baird. There were also three video screens promoting Sterling’s Home Building Seminar Series, a rolling showcase of Sterling home photographs and a Client Testimonial video that recounts our clients’ building experiences.
All in all it was an enjoyable day spent sharing the many blessings we have been given with the Austin real estate community that has supported us so graciously throughout the years.
Sterling Custom Homes will once again participate in the largest real estate-oriented trade show in Central Texas, the Austin Board of Realtors Realty Round Up. The real estate trade show will take place this year on October 7th, so be sure to mark your calendars so that you don’t miss the show. And while you are browsing the exhibit halls, be sure to visit the Austin custom home builder. With hundreds of exhibitors and over 1,500 attendees, it’s no wonder that the show will occupy two exhibit halls at the Austin Convention Center.
